Counselor's Corner

Howdy!  My name is Beverly Lilie and I am CES’s School Counselor!

I am in my 13th year here at CES and this is my 29th year in education!  I was a First Grade teacher at College Hills Elementary in College Station ISD for 5 years. Then, I went to Carver Early Childhood Center in Bryan ISD for 7 years and Mary Branch Elementary for 4 years as a school counselor. I moved out here to Caldwell because I LOVE the small town atmosphere and wanted to raise my family here in Caldwell. I have been in Burleson County for 23 years. I am married with two boys who both graduated from Caldwell High School classes of ‘15 and ‘18. They both are now at Texas A&M University (WHOOP!).

Here at CES, I coordinate and facilitate many programs such as LPAC (Language Proficiency Assessment Committee), Advanced Academic Services, Core Essential Values, individual and small group counseling, classroom guidance, and other duties. My door is always open and know that I am here for all of you, too!

I wear many hats for Caldwell ISD as Lead Counselor, Homeless/Foster Liaison, and the Core Essential Values Coordinator. I am very passionate about my job and the students. I love building relationships and helping students understand the importance of values not only at home, school, community, and in life.

COVID-19 Update:

With the temporary closing of our CISD campuses due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted to let all parents and students know that I am available by email. If you have any concerns, questions or need any type of assistance, please contact me at blilie@caldwellisd.net.

Our school administration, faculty and staff are working diligently to provide educational opportunities, nutritious meals and support for all of our students and their families. I am also providing links to resources and activities for our core value for the month of April. April is the month of Humility ~ putting others first by giving up what you think you deserve. We have seen so many acts of humility in our community during this crisis. I encourage us all to continue to show humility by practicing social distancing and putting others first.

Please contact me if I can help you or your family in any way.
